Meet Rob Stokes Rob has a Marketing Honors Degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is the Founder and Group CEO of Quirk eMarketing, Africa's largest full service online marketing agency. Rob is the guiding force for the ever growing Quirk agency with a loyal client base that includes Google, BMW and FNB. On numerous occasions, Rob has entertained audiences in many countries, sharing his knowledge and expertise on a wide array of eMarketing topics. He is the co-author of the Quirk textbook - eMarketing: The Essential Guide to Online Marketing. Licensed under the Creative Commons, the textbook is used by marketing students at universities all over the world.
Meet Sarah Blake
Sarah Blake has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She lectures at the University of Cape Town in eMarketing. Sarah is the co-author of the Quirk textbook - eMarketing: The Essential Guide to Online Marketing. She has worked with clients across a number of industries, including Protea Hotels, ADT South Africa, Europcar South Africa, Breadline Africa and South African Tourism. Sarah was employed by world renowned paid search company Clicks2Customers in 2006. She was employed by Firebox.com in London in 2003. Meet Sarah Manners Sarah graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, with a BA in psychology, sociology and political science. She went on to do her post grad at AAA School of Advertising in Intergrated Marketing Communications. After working in traditional marketing for 18 months, she started at Quirk as a copywriter. In her time at Quirk, Sarah has been many things and even dabbled in SEO writing and strategy. She now heads up the copywriting department and is the Editor-in-Chief of Quirk's fortnightly newsletter. Meet Tim Shier Tim Shier graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. With that, and some early work experience under his belt, he came to Quirk at the beginning of 2007. He has moved swifty through the ranks, now filling the position of Marketing Manager at Quirk while also heading up the Marketing Team for BrandsEye, Quirkâs highly successful Online Reputation Management tool. He has also given guest lectures at UCT, Vega, AAA and Red and Yellow, as well as having lectured full courses in eMarketing at the Friends of Design School. Meet Heidi Ocker
Heidi has a broad range of experience in the online arena having worked as a web designer, online copy writer, campaign manager and search engine marketer. Her 6 years of local and international experience has seen her work on a large variety of clients and sectors. Her specific area of expertise are acquisition and web analytics with a strong focus on paid search. She is Google Adwords and Analytics certified and has lectured on behalf of Google at South African Universities. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Rhodes as well as a post graduate diploma in marketing management. Back to course page
